Teachers will conduct a classroom bee or written test to choose spellers from each class. Spellers will then compete at School level against students in their grade and the top two spellers will be determined per grade to compete at the multi school spelling bee. The third place speller will serve as an alternate for the competition with the other schools. Before competing in the competition, students and parents must sign an understanding of rules form.
